Fixed period filters not being set if not done in filterTimePeriod

This reverts commit a8c705b8.

This fixes a bug where new comments comming from the API on unpausing the comment stream where not in the list of comments being filtered and listed.

Users are now able to filter the comments from now. If an user has selected this option all comments disappear and only comments created from now will be displayed.
If the user selects another time period or the 'from now' option again, the period will reset so that the comments will disappear again.

Indicate with the color red if a filter is active. Also show a message if there are no comments with the active filters.

A new button is now displayed in comment list view for creators and participants. A click on the button will open
a menu with which the user can select a time period for the displayed comments. Sorting and filtering actions will
applied to the selected period. Displaying all existing comments is the default setting.
