WIP: decent blue theme

The following Theme is based on Nick Kolenda’s Article about Color Psychology and Google’s Material Design.

The main aspect, that I was following throughout the process of creating a new Theme, was to control the users focus on the Quiz itself. Users should not be distracted by extraordinary color combinations. It’s a plain Theme that would probably be used in Universities or High schools rather than Elementary school.

After reviewing Nick Kolenda’s color summary table, my primary color would be blue with low Chroma and a monochromatic scheme in general. Blue indicates competency and success which are both reasonable aspects for a QuizApp like ARSnova. Since it’s a low chromatic blue, I’ve chosen blue-grey as my primary color. My accent color is green since it’s a color that indicates hope and harmony, which is also an important point, when creating an App that is used by many different people simultaneously.
