Cafeteria comments crash with 12 blanks as input

Probably no longer relevant after #189 (closed) but please make sure Q & A input forms are not affected and that all-whitespace input is not accepted, even with a minimum character requirement of one character.

Maybe the crash was due to the backend giving you an HTTP 400 after the message was trimmed down to an empty string.
